International Burlesque Hall of Fame living legend Mickey Mae “The Little Mermaid” returns to the burlesque stage more than 35 years after headlining throughout the 1970s, 80s, and 90s.
A trilingual Phi Beta Kappa scholar with degrees in television, film, and media from San Diego State University, Mickey’s creative career spans burlesque, acting, photography, writing, and music. As an actress, she has appeared in film projects recognized by Variety and The New York Times, as well as the video game Grand Theft Auto V. She is also a scriptwriter developing a Viking-Vampyr saga and a published photographer and model.
Mickey continues to create music under the name Yung Mae, including the track House of Tease created for the Burlesque Hall of Fame in 2024.
Within The Dark Crown Atelier, Mickey mentors performers in character embodiment, emotional storytelling, and stage presence — guiding artists to develop acts that feel cinematic, intentional, and unforgettable.
She’s single mother/ coach and co-performer & video producer with søn horror icon/ actor (Halloween/07,  Euphoria) and musical performance artist Daeg Faerch/ GreatDaeg producing music as DNMRKBOOM
Burlesque has always been her first love.
